  Publix pharmacy has helpful pharmacy techs. Pharmacy Manager Linda Dumas lacks any compassion or professionalism. She is obviously in the wrong profession and enjoys frustrating the sick instead of helping them. I had an insurance issue because of the new year. She wouldn't confirm with my insurance company that I still had coverage. She told us to pay 50$ for an antibiotic (I'm pregnant with pneumonia) or go elsewhere. After asking to speak with someone else about the insurance problem, a pharmacy tech gave us cash options that gave us half off the price, so we paid cash. Once we got home and spoke with our insurance company, our insurance coverage had indeed not changed and if she would have just verified my insurance by calling the number on the back of the card we would have been able to save cash and pay our original copay. Sick people don't have the energy to "hassle" with those we seek help from. Publix has been my primary pharmacy for over 10 years. Since they are putting people like her in a position to "help" people, I will no longer be using that pharmacy. Hope to never see her in my place of employment.
